The Church Fete was a huge success and not even the rain could dampen everyone’s spirits. We had a range of stalls including a fresh produce stall, a white elephant and a book stall and were kept well fed with the BBQ and tea and cakes. There were a number of different traditional games and the Eversden Brass Band and music from Gordon Gore kept us entertained throughout the afternoon.
The children were delighted with the teddy zip wire and teddies flew down across the church over our heads. The children’s tombola, tuck shop and treasure hunt kept them all entertained.
Thank you to all those who helped make the afternoon such a great occasion.
