Into the Silent Land
, Revd Howard Bigg leads a fortnightly Tuesday meditation session open to all. We are learning about this ancient Christian practice which is experiencing something of a revival in our noisy and distracted world. We spend about twenty minutes in silence before God, and sometimes listen to a very short talk from an experienced meditator. 12:00 noon to 12:45pm. ALM Baptism Course, training for lay people to support their clergy with Baptism Ministry Saturday 16 September 9.30-2pm and then five consecutive Wednesday evenings, starting Wednesday 20 September. Venue: Diocesan Office, Barton Road, Ely CB7 4DX. This new Baptism ALM course is offered as six sessions starting in Autumn 2017. It is for those already involved in Baptism preparation or those who would like to support their clergy in this way. Messy Church has taken off in so many churches and is successfully attracting many new-to-church adults and children at this reimagined style of church service.
