Team United Services, 29 October
Holy Communion for All Saints Day with ALM Commissioning, 10.30 am at St Andrew’s Toft, with Revd Rob Taylor, Bishop’s Officer for Growing Vocations
Matins, 11 am at St Michael’s, Caldecote.

‘Vocations – a higher priority?’ – At the 7th November meeting of Bourn Deanery Synod there will be a presentation on ‘Vocations – a higher priority?’ by Rob Taylor, the Diocesan Vocations Officer.  This is in a part of Synod open to all and is scheduled to begin at around 8.15pm.  The meeting will be held at Toft Methodist Chapel, 13 High St, Toft, Cambridge CB23 2RL.

To make Vocations a higher priority, Traditionally Vocations focused on Church Ministry – Ordained and Licensed Lay Ministry. But that ignores the majority of the laity, who God calls to life in all its fullness.

Do you feel you are fully alive? Do you feel that Church could be so much more? Needs to offer much more? Then understanding and exploring a Vocational Culture is for you, and your church – where the question is not “Is God Calling you?”, rather it is “To what is God calling you?”, and that is to so much more. Come and hear how the Diocese is encouraging and equipping everyone for life in all its fullness: Ely2025- People fully alive!
