Christian Aid is an agency of our churches in Britain and Ireland and is mandated to work on relief, development and advocacy for poverty eradication. Christian Aid’s work is founded on Christian faith, inspired by hope and acts to change an unjust world through charity – a practical love and care for our neighbours.
This year, the house-to-house collection in Haslingfield raised nearly £1,700 to help the poorest of the poor, regardless of religion, race or gender.
Many thanks to all who contributed most generously to this cause and a special thank you to the team of thirty people in Haslingfield who delivered and collected the envelopes or helped with counting the money.
