Christian Aid Week, despite the absence of the familiar red envelopes through your door, is still running. Christian Aid teams and their partners are working hard to reduce the impact of covid -19 on the communities they work with.
The world’s poorest communities have the weakest healthcare systems and many of the most vulnerable people are now being exposed to the virus. Those affected will struggle to get the healthcare they need and with the cost of not earning a living due to lockdown or quarantine.
Christian Aid is inviting our church to pray with them and to donate to their coronavirus appeal. This can be done via christianaid.org.uk.
