Every year, that moment when the Easter Dawn Chorus greets the first appearance of the morning sun is incredibly moving. I like to walk up as the moon gives way to the rising sun. The spectacularly clear sunrise was at 5.45am this year and nine of us from All Saints’ and The Methodist Church met for a short 6am Service to greet the morning with a hymn, a reading and prayer, as we gathered round the brazier. The Service was led by Rev. Becca Gilbert and David Rutherford had kindly set up the brazier. J.G.
